Gray Instant, 2020. Monoprint on cotton paper, 76 x 50 cm. - With each gray overlay, the drawing is transformed and appears in a different way. The work seeks an equivalence between layers of gray and layers of time, where the absence of color speaks of the present time, and the deepest black exists as the most distant memory, or vice versa. It is also an experience about repetition and difference. An accumulation of the same minimal gesture, of the same gray overlays, of the same spiral instants, and of the same and different monotypes.
